What we collect and why

• Purchases. Payment is handled by Paddle.com, our Merchant of Record. Paddle collects your email address, billing country and payment details under its own privacy policy; we receive your email address and order details to deliver the book and answer support requests. We never see your full card number.
• Newsletter. If you subscribe, we first send an email to confirm the address: you join the list only after clicking the link in it. Your email address, language and the page you subscribed on are stored with our email service provider, Resend (resend.com, data kept in the EU), and used only to send the drawing newsletter. As a record of your consent we keep your email address with the dates you subscribed, confirmed and unsubscribed on our own server. Every email has an unsubscribe link.
• Contact. If you write to us, we keep the correspondence to answer you.
• Where you came from. We remember in your browser, for 30 days, which link brought you here; the "Buy" button passes this label to our e-book store, and the store passes it to Paddle with your order.
• Server logs. Our hosting provider records standard access logs (IP address, pages requested, browser) for security. This site sets no tracking cookies and uses no advertising pixels.

What we do not do

• We never sell or rent your information.
• We do not send marketing email without your subscription.

You can ask what data we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, and unsubscribe at any time. Write to hello@olgashmatova.com.
